Why this Code…?
Corporate ethics are more than just about NOT breaking the law. They're also about
how we behave towards each other and the outside world, and about following the
rules and guidelines based on our values.
At DiGi, we conduct our business to the highest possible standards of integrity. We
obey all laws and regulations, both in letter and in spirit. We treat all stakeholders -
our shareholders, customers, suppliers, employees and the community around us -
with the utmost respect. We pursue and achieve our goals whilst minimizing
negative impact around us. We live up to our pledge to be a model corporate
citizen, the preferred employer of Malaysia's professionals and the smarter choice of
Malaysian consumers.
DiGi believes all of its employees, directors, agents and representatives must share
the same beliefs, and pursue them with the same energy and commitment. It also
means we can't work in DiGi if we are not prepared to follow the same standards (or
if we breach any of these conditions).
What does DiGi ask from us? Only these:
That we conduct our business fairly, impartially, ethically.
That we obey all applicable laws and regulations.
That integrity be the basis of all our relationships whether with customers,
suppliers, communities and with each other.
That we respect the environment and be aware of (and minimize) our impact
on it.
That we don't do anything that may raise questions about DiGi's honesty,
impartiality, reputation or ability to conduct its business.
And that you don't get other parties to carry out any tasks prohibited under
DiGi's policies and practices and Terms & Conditions of
employment.
