CPA Overview
Through DiGi's Content Provider Access (CPA) concept, content providers are enabled to distribute mobile content to the DiGi subscriber base. Content providers will market the services themselves and the business model is based on revenue sharing between DiGi and the content providers.

The content may vary from ring tones and logos, through quizzes and contests, to useful information-on-demand services - or any other content or services that content providers may come up with. The content providers are enabled to charge premium rates for their content or services, ranging from RM 0.20 to RM 10.00.

In addition to the premium rates stated above, the content provider may also choose not to charge the end user by utilising the zero rate price category. The zero rate is used when content providers would like to send content free of charge to the end user. For each SMS sent at the zero rate by the content provider, DiGi shall impose a charge of RM0.09.

One of the main benefits of the DiGi CPA concept is that the content providers can continuously develop new content and services, launch them, and market them - all without having to sign new agreements nor set up new commercial or technical arrangements with DiGi for each new service. The CPA terms and conditions are non-negotiable and are standardised for all content providers, as part of DiGi's effort to create a competitive content provider community in Malaysia.
