What is CPA Bulk SMS?
Bulk SMS is a product for content providers who need to transmit a large number of short messages (SMS) to DiGi's GSM subscribers. The price for sending SMS depends on the number of messages sent each month. The more SMS sent, the greater the discount. Content providers will be assigned a 5-digit short code starting with 6 (i.e. 6xxxx) for the Bulk SMS service which will be used to send the SMS to DiGi subscribers. Subsequently, DiGi subscribers will be able to reply via the same short code which will then be forwarded to the content provider.

Content providers will need to connect to DiGi's infrastructure via a VPN connection through the Internet or a leased line.

Capacity
In addition to the discounted rates on the SMS sent, another benefit that may be reaped by the content provider is the rate at which the SMS are transmitted through Bulk SMS. The number of messages to be sent will be transmitted at 5 SMS per second. The transmission of an SMS message from an ordinary mobile telephone takes several seconds.

Billing
Invoicing for a Bulk SMS subscription takes place on a monthly basis. All usage by the content provider for a particular month is accumulated and invoiced at the beginning of the next month. The invoice received by the client from DiGi will specify the total number of messages and the total price for the month in question.
