What is USSD? CPA USSD enables content providers to provide USSD menu based list of services to DiGi's mobile customers via USSD. Contents will subsequently be delivered and charged via existing delivery channels ie. premium sms, premium mms or wap. Premium content charges will be revenue shared between content provider and DiGi according to delivery channel’s existing rates and charges. DiGi handles all demands of payment on behalf of the content providers and provide them a settlement report every month.
• The DiGi mobile customer sends a mobile originated message to a USSD short code of a content provider to access a USSD menu.
This menu is managed by said content provider.
Short-codes To get access to the content provider services on USSD, the DiGi subscriber will need to send the MO to the content provider's USSD short-code (*360*3xxxx#). The short code (3xxxx) used by a content provider for CPA Premium SMS will be retained for the content provider’s use on the CPA USSD shortcode. This shortcode assignment also applies to content provider with Premium MMS shortcode. Likewise, short-codes assigned by other mobile operators can be used with DiGi as well.
