What is CPA WAP? CPA WAP enables content providers to deliver WAP content to DiGi's mobile customers via WAP Push or WAP Pull and subsequently charge the mobile customer for downloading the content or subscribing to the service. Popular content delivered using WAP include polyphonic ringtones, java games, colour wallpaper, animations as well as information-on-demand premium content. DiGi handles all demands of payment on behalf of the content providers and provide them a settlement report every month.
WAP Push and WAP Pull Services Basically, the CPA WAP service comprises of two types of services, ie :
1. CPA WAP Push
The DiGi mobile customer sends a mobile originated message to a short code of a content provider to order a WAP Push content. Subsequently the content provider sends a WAP Push message that contains the premium text and a WAP URL.
Alternatively, with the same ordering mechanism mentioned above the content provider may send only a premium WAP URL with a title and encourage the DiGi mobile customer to download the desired content by clicking on the same URL.
2. CPA WAP Pull
The DiGi mobile customer receives a WAP Push message with a premium WAP URL from the content provider. The user clicks on it and the desired content will subsequently be "pulled" from the content provider's WAP site; or
The DiGi mobile customer surfs the content providers' WAP site and clicks on the WAP URL to access the premium content.
