Launched in 2005, DiGi's Amazing Malaysians is founded on the belief that to preserve tradition, it is necessary to preserve the ability of people to practice it. We felt that there was a gap in such preservation efforts since there is so much richness in our heritage hidden in small communities everywhere in Malaysia.
The programme focuses on five broad areas of heritage, namely natural, cultural, art, built and social heritage. And what better way to do so than by leveraging on the youths of the local community. Hopefully, we can instill a sense of pride and responsibility for their respective cultural heritage and embrace it.
