DiGi's Yellow Army comprises of student's from 15 universities who are carefully selected to portrait DiGi values in their university as our ambassadors.
In 2009 a team of 80 dynamic, fun and outspoken students were selected from 15 public & private universities across Malaysia, including Sabah & Sarawak to participate in a 3-day teambuilding programme. The training & motivational programme was aimed at inspiring mindset change in these undergrads by introducing them to DiGi's daring, different and dynamic attitude. It also served to motivate them to go from being a good to a great team leader. Numerous motivational activities and interesting games were carried out throughout the 3 days, all of which were aimed to develop the participants' strengths and improve their weaker points. The participants were also introduced to DiGi's products and services and how they were relevant to today's generation of young adults. Also in conjunction with DiGi's Deep Green initiatives and in support of Earth Hour, the participants also contributed by stopping their activities for 60 minutes during which the lights in the entire DiGi building were switched off.
As a Yellow Army member, the students also gained the opportunity to be part of other exciting DiGi programmes such as Youth Street Festival & Deep Green campaign, as well the privilege to watch DiGi sponsored international musical shows like the recent David Archuleta Music Showcase. This program has not only made these individuals more valuable upon graduating but has also opened the door to internship opportunities in DiGi for those who are able to excel in the programme.
