Introduction

Corporate Responsibility Strategic Focus

We understand that CR is not just the purview of one single department in the company to do “good.” The responsibility lies in each of us to make a positive difference in the world we live & work in.

Each person in his or her capacity as an employee, an employer, a parent, a customer, or an individual, can contribute in the simplest way that can minimize the environmental impact, for instance, and be a good example to others.

Our CR initiatives are tailored to fulfill at least one of these three objectives with the aim to engage as many as our employees and the local community as possible.

Continuing the tradition we began last year, we've chosen to make our 2009 Annual Report and Sustainability Report available online. This effort is in line with our aim to lower our carbon footprints, with only a limited number of printed hard copies being distributed to comply with Bursa Malaysia guidelines. All printed copies of the report are made using acid free recycled paper in our effort to reduce adverse environmental impact as part of our Deep Green initiatives. We also welcome your feedback to help us improve our sustainability performance and our future reporting.
