1 Low Flat Rate to All Networks
(October 2008)

DiGi's 1 Low Flat Rate to all networks across prepaid, postpaid and business segments gives customers the best value and DiGi the edge over competition with Mobile Number Portability (MNP). DiGi was first to introduce 1 Low Flat Rate, a winning proposition in an MNP environment, where users need not worry about costs of calling other networks. DiGi is in a sweet spot and will continue to be at the forefront in delivering value to customers.
 

Free Personal Accident Insurance Coverage
(September 2008)

DiGi is the industry's first to allow subscribers to activate free Personal Accident (PA) insurance via their mobile phones in line with its commitment to deliver simple and creative services to its customers. Accordingly, DiGi announced that its subscribers with over three months tenure will be given free RM10,000 PA coverage insured by AIG General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad. The service will be made available via easy SMS activation minus the hassle of complicated forms and need to deal with agents.

1 Low Flat Rate Nationwide

On 10 July 2007, DiGi took a revolutionary step by offering DiGi Postpaid subscribers 1-low flat rate of RM0.13 per minute for mobile calls to any number in Malaysia. Our new price plan had no hidden charges and our transparency in pricing inevitably pushed call rates down in the industry. The end result? More affordable calls across the nation and across networks; enabling the less affluent to enjoy mobile communications. DiGi's 1-low flat rate initiative continues to empower consumers with our affordable and uncomplicated call packages that are a hit with Malaysians.

Easy Payment Scheme on Phone

DiGi became the 1st telco to offer a phone subsidy scheme through a monthly instalment plan. Customers can now afford to have their own mobile phones via monthly instalments of RM100 or RM120. Our Easy Payment Scheme enabled consumers with minimal income to stay connected with their loved ones wherever they are.

 

The Truth about Prepaid Campaign

This campaign was initiated to encourage transparency by educating consumers about the costs associated with prepaid services & the different time slots. The effort empowered consumers to judge for themselves which prepaid service plan best suits their needs without being burdened by unnecessary costs.
