DiGi Postpaid Customers to Enjoy Greater Rewards with BonusLink

SHAH ALAM, 12 AUGUST 2010: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") is enhancing its rewards programme for loyal customers via a new partnership with BonusKad Loyalty Sdn Bhd.

Effective 1 July 2010, DiGi Postpaid and DiGi Postpaid Broadband customers can collect BonusLink Points based on their monthly usage bill. This expands the scope of the point accumulation system for customers beyond using DiGi's services. They can now accumulate Points via BonusLink from over 3,000 partner outlets nationwide.

DiGi customers can collect Points based on the following tiers:

Total Usage Points Awarded
Below RM100 RM2 = 1 BonusLink Point
RM100 and above RM1 = 1 BonusLink Point

Francis Chang, Head of CRM & Analytics explained: "We've taken the opportunity to make it easier and faster for our customers to be rewarded. With this programme, they now have an additional avenue for point collection, which means faster accumulation and greater access to a wide range of branded gifts to redeem. It's faster collection, faster rewards and greater benefits all-around."

BonusKad Loyalty Sdn Bhd, General Manager, Victor Goon added, "We are confident that our mutual customers will receive the best rewards from this initiative, especially having a choice of over 30 participating top brands and thousands of partner outlets nationwide."

To be eligible, customers need to register their BonusLink Card numbers with DiGi by via:

  • SMS, Type BL<space><your 16 digits BonusLink Card Number> and send to 2000, or
  • Online at www.digi.com.my/bl

Existing DiGi customers who register by 25 August 2010 will have their DiGi Bonus Points converted into BonusLink Points.

DiGi customers without a BonusLink card can apply for a card at www.digi.com.my/bl to start collecting BonusLink Points and be eligible for more rewards in the coming months.
