This is to inform that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is conducting the Broadband Survey 2014. Canvassing period is from 12 April 2014 until 30 June 2014. Notification in major newspapers was published on 28 February 2014. Calls will be made to respondents selected at random from 9:00 am till 4:45 pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays except Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur/Selangor public holidays. Survey completion and/or extensions will be announced in the MCMC website: www.mcmc.gov.my.
Please note that the survey does NOT collect any money nor solicit any sales. MCMC has assured that data collected will be kept in the strictest confidence and will be used only to formulate national statistics. While the survey is not compulsory, we would like to strongly urge our customers to give the fullest cooperation if selected. Thank you.

Postpaid Mobile Internet - Revision of Mobile Internet Max 240 (Default Plan)

SHAH ALAM, 25 SEPTEMBER 2010: Acknowledged for its creative and exciting edge, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") has turned to social networking website, Facebook, to reward corporate professionals with a once-in-a-lifetime experience as the "sexy" main prize to a month long marketing campaign.
DiGi Business recently ran a month-long online contest for 'fans' of the I-AM-CURIOUS Facebook page, whereby a riddle was uploaded on the page almost every hour. The first person with the correct answer then qualified to the next phase of the contest. Eight riddles were posted daily over a 30-day period.
"By having witty and quirky riddles as the contest mechanic, we were consciously acknowledging that corporate professionals and employees are indeed a more discerning segment. Traditional, 'drier' forms of engagement are no longer enough," explained Kevin Lee, Head of Enterprise Sales. "It's all done in the DiGi spirit - to challenge the norm and be innovative in responding to different segment with different needs."
All eligible participants were invited to DiGi's headquarters for the second leg of the contest. They were given a Mission Docket with instructions to take a photograph of themselves as 'the CEO of DiGi'. Participants then had to upload their photograph on Facebook and complete the caption, 'If I was the CEO of DiGi, I would...' before encouraging as many friends as possible to "Like" their contest entries.
The 10 photos with the highest number of votes will be declared the winners and be given the opportunity to win a host of prizes including the "sexy" main prize - the experience of being a pilot for a day. Other prizes include exclusive DiGi merchandise.
According to Lee, the aim of the campaign is to excite DiGi users through a fun mode of communication. "Social media has become a key choice of communications among corporate employees. Through this Facebook contest approach, we hope to extend beyond traditional means and carve a greater share of voice for ourselves in an acknowledged, well-recognised and popular social networking site."
The results of the contest will be announced through the DiGi I-AM-CURIOUS Facebook page on 6 October, 2010.
