Notification in major newspapers was published on 28 February 2014. Calls will be made to respondents selected at random from 9:00 am till 4:45 pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays except Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur/Selangor public holidays. Survey completion and/or extensions will be announced in the MCMC website: www.mcmc.gov.my.

MCMC has assured that data collected will be kept in the strictest confidence and will be used only to formulate national statistics. Over 400,000 songs available in Malaysia's first iPhone app for legal music downloads
KUALA LUMPUR, 11 NOVEMBER 2010: To bring more advanced data services to its DiGi customers, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") has introduced Malaysia's first iPhone app that offers unlimited legal music downloads. This is in partnership with Universal Music and Sony Music, two of the world's largest music labels.
Over 40,000 songs were downloaded during the beta phase in October 2010 when this homegrown music app was made available via Apple App Store. The free application enhances DiGi's mobile music service that was launched in August 2009 as the service moves into the smartphone arena, starting with the iPhone platform.
DiGi's Head of Segment Marketing, Moharmustaqeem Mohammed said, "Since we launched iPhones this year, we wanted to create more value added services for our iPhone customers while making DiGi Music even more relevant and available. This also expands DiGi's outreach to the youth market and anyone who is a music lover.
