Notification in major newspapers was published on 28 February 2014. Calls will be made to respondents selected at random from 9:00 am till 4:45 pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays except Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur/Selangor public holidays. Survey completion and/or extensions will be announced in the MCMC website: www.mcmc.gov.my.

MCMC has assured that data collected will be kept in the strictest confidence and will be used only to formulate national statistics. DiGi® Easy Prepaid – Buddyz™ Revision

Postpaid plan with auto adjusting rates, set to take postpaid services to new heights
Kuala Lumpur, 17 November 2003 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd today launched its straightforward and simple horizon postpaid service, offering a set of two price plans that will clearly stand out as easy to understand in a very cluttered postpaid marketplace.
The two postpaid plans are horizon optimum and horizon premier. With horizon optimum, customers will enjoy the same innovative feature as DiGi launched for its prepaid customers only a few weeks ago - the very popular auto adjusting rates. This feature allows the rate per minute to be reduced with the amount of calls the user makes.
"We have planned and designed this postpaid plan for our customers who would like to have a reasonable fixed monthly fee, and at the same time would like to enjoy reduced rates based on their usage. The auto adjusting rates has already become a very popular service with our prepaid customers, and we are now confident that this plan will stand out among all the complicated postpaid offerings, currently available." said DiGi's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Tore Johnsen.
"horizon optimum offers one of the lowest local rate per minute rate as usage increases, an affordable call rate as low as 20 sen per minute. The same applies for outstation calls, all day long with a flat rate at only 80 sen per minute. The monthly access fee is only RM30. Along with this, DiGi has also taken an important step by removing the adjacent and non-adjacent tariff zones rates which impose additional charges when making outstation calls," he added.
The other plan offered under the horizon banner is horizon premier, the one rate calling plan with one of the lowest mobile rates offered. This plan is designed for busy people that would like to enjoy a nationwide flat rate of only 20 sen per minute. The monthly access fee is RM80.00.
With this plan, all calls are charged at a flat rate, eliminating additional charges for peak, off peak periods and call zones. horizon premier is the only postpaid service in the market with a user-friendly price plan and a flat rate for calls made nationwide.
DiGi has invested considerable efforts in designing a postpaid service that offers consumers choice, flexibility and value for money. horizon reflects a deep knowledge of DiGi's customer base and their preferences.
horizon will be available from November 18 onwards for all existing and new postpaid customers. To complete its customers mobile communications' experience, DiGi has also included in this offering a host of innovative value added services (VAS). For the first time ever in the country, customers will be able to obtain an automatic credit limit alert (ACLA) via Short Message Service (SMS) and also be able to choose either to be billed on the 8th, 16th or on 21st day of the month.
ACLA is an alert service that prompts customers via SMS of their current usage once it has reached a certain threshold of their total credit limit. This service will come into effect from December 2003 onwards.
Other VAS that will be made available are IDD, SMS, MMS, GPRS, call waiting, call divert and multi-party conferencing. Existing DiGi Mobile One customers can change to any of the horizon plans for free by simply calling 016-2211800 or visiting the nearest DiGi Centre.
