Notification in major newspapers was published on 28 February 2014. Calls will be made to respondents selected at random from 9:00 am till 4:45 pm daily including Saturdays and Sundays except Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur/Selangor public holidays. Survey completion and/or extensions will be announced in the MCMC website: www.mcmc.gov.my.

DiGi® Easy Prepaid – Buddyz™ Revision

DiGi and Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd sign pact, giving DiGi customers hassle-free service options at 180 7-Eleven stores nationwide
Kuala Lumpur, August 23, 2001 - Malaysia's largest GSM 1800 mobile network service providers, DiGi Telecommunications, today signed an agreement with Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd, owner and operator of 7-Eleven, the country's largest chain of convenience stores.
Notching another first for DiGi, the agreement allows DiGi's Prepaid Plus and chatz International Calling Card (ICC) customers to obtain prepaid reloads and purchase chatz 24 hours a day, at all 7-Eleven stores located nationwide.
In his speech, Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Datuk Abdul Rahim Bin Haji Din, Managing Director of DiGi Telecommunications, said that DiGi recognised the need to constantly innovate and create new, useful and practical services as this is vital in meeting the evolving demands of the individual and corporate consumers alike in this fast-paced society of ours.
"With mobile subscribers projected to grow at a robust pace of between 20% - 35% annually over the next three years, having strategic and practical services for our customers is pivotal," added YBhg Tan Sri Abdul Rahim.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Quah Jin Ho, Director/General Manager of Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd said, "We are indeed very pleased to offer this service to DiGi's customers. We are confident that with this state-of-the-art electronic on-line system, availability of reloads and chatz cards in our unique 24-hour stores is assured."
Via this service, DiGi's customers can approach any 7-Eleven store to purchase DiGi Prepaid Plus airtime and chatz at electronic terminals installed at the respective outlets. Upon transaction, the customer will receive a voucher for whichever service requested. The Prepaid Plus customer then simply calls DiGi's IVR centre at 016 - 299 1800 to activate the reload. The activation process takes approximately between two to five minutes.
For chatz, the customer will be issued a voucher, which will be printed with a 15-digit PIN number. To initiate international calls, the customers would have to dial DiGi's freephone number and then enter the PIN numbers, followed by the desired destination numbers to get connected.
Customers are now able to purchase the DiGi Prepaid Plus airtime reload of RM50 and also chatz of RM50 denomination, making payment by cash for these services. Customers can direct their queries to the respective 7-Eleven stores or to DiGi at 016 - 221 1800. DiGi has put in place a secure system to effectively and successfully manage a smooth transaction process.
