Q1 What is the CallerTunes™ service?
A1 This is a service that allows you to change your normal connecting tone ('toot-toot') to a song, funny script or even a sound effect to entertain your caller while waiting for you to pick up his/her call.
 
Q2 Who can use this service?
A2 This service is currently open to all DiGi postpaid and prepaid customers.
 
Q3 Do I have to change my existing phone in order to enjoy the CallerTunes™ service?
A3 No, this service does not require you to change your existing phone. It works on all phone types.
 
Q4 How long must I wait to enjoy CallerTunes™ after subscribing to the service?
A4 CallerTunes™ will be played immediately upon subscription of content.
 
Q5 Can I revert back to a normal ringing tone after I have selected a CallerTunes™ item without terminating the service?
A5 No, you will not be able to revert back to the normal ringing tone until you have Unsubscribe all your CallerTunes™ contents.
 
Q6 How do I subscribe to a CallerTunes™?
A6 You can subscribe to any CallerTunes™ content through all channels below:
  • Dial 13333 for IVR; or
  • (b) Simply send SMS "CT buy" to 2000; or
  • Log on to http://wap.digi.com.my on your mobile; or
  • Log on to http://ct.digi.com.my on your PC; or
  • Dial *128#, select "Mobile Services", then "CallerTunes™"
 
Q7 How do I personalize my CallerGroup and TimeZone for the CallerTunes™ contents I have subscribed?
A7 You can personalize your CallerTunes™ by logon to;
 
Q8 Will I be charged if I change my TimeZone's start/end time or CallerGroup phone number settings?
A8 There will be no additional costs for changing your TimeZone's start/end time or CallerGroup phone number settings.
 
Q9 If I subscribe to the service on 15 April, when is the next deduction for the subscription fee?
A9 Deductions are made on a monthly basis. If you subscribe on 15 April, the next deduction will be on 14 May.
 
Q10 What features are available if I use the CallerTunes™ website?
A10 MyContent - manage your CallerTunes™ and to remove MyStatus
  • MyContent - to manage your CallerTunes™, remove the MyStatus.
  • Popular Songs - to search and browse for more songs.
  • Popular DJs - to search and browse for DJ categories.
  • MyLog - to view your history transaction logs.
 
Q11 What is the maximum number of phone numbers that can be entered for one CallerGroup?
A11 A maximum of twenty (20). You can edit any phone number at anytime. Please save the settings once completed. It is not mandatory to enter the preferred phone number list. If left empty, song will not be played.
 
Q12 Can I specify my preferred phone number list for CallerGroup?
A12 Yes, you can specify your preferred phone number list as the settings are not fixed by DiGi. It is not mandatory to enter the preferred phone list however. If the list is empty, the song will not be played.
 
Q13 How will the service work if I use all these settings?
A13 It is based on the following priority:
  • First priority - CallerGroup
  • Second priority - TimeZone
If all the above is not applicable, a default CallerTunes™ determined by DiGi will be played.
 
Q14 Will I be able to enjoy the CallerTunes™ service while I am roaming?
A14 You may be able to enjoy the service even though you are roaming. However, this will depend on the international network support.
 
Q15 If I change my Prepaid to a Postpaid plan, do I need to activate CallerTunes™ service again?
A15 No, you need not re-activate your CallerTunes™ service if you are changing from Prepaid to Postpaid plan, if the mobile number remains the same. The CallerTunes™ activation will automatically take place 2 hours after activation of Postpaid plan.

A16 Please refer to our charges section for details.
 
Q17 What happens if I unsubscribe to CallerTunes™ service in less than one month?
A17 There will be no proration of CallerTunes™ subscription fee. For example, if you subscribe to CallerTunes™ on the 1st of the month and de-activate the service on the 15th of the month, your CallerTunes™ service will be cancelled immediately. However, your monthly fee is still charged in full.
 
Q18 What happens if my prepaid account has insufficient balance when DiGi attempts to charge the recurring monthly fee?
A18 Your CallerTunes™ will be suspended, which means that you will not be able to enjoy the CallerTunes™ service. Please reload your prepaid account in order to reactivate your CallerTunes™ service.
 
Q19 Do prepaid customers require a minimum amount in their account before they can purchase CallerTunes™?
A19 As long as your account maintains a minimum balance of RM5, after purchasing CallerTunes™.
 
Q20 Is there a limit on how many times I can purchase CallerTunes™?
A20 Yes, postpaid customers can only utilize a maximum of RM50 worth of transactions for 1 hour while prepaid customers can utilize a maximum of RM100 worth of transactions for 1 hour.
 
Q21 Where can I get more help or information regarding CallerTunes™?
A21 You may contact DiGi Customer Service at 016 - 221 1800.
 
Q22 What are the charges for using the SMS channel to purchase songs?
A22 You will be charged RM0.15 for every SMS sent to 2000. No charges for receiving replies from 2000.

A normal activation fee and content charge applies.
 
Q23 How do I unsubscribe CallerTunes™, if I am in suspended status?
A23 You can unsubscribe CallerTunes™ by SMS. Send CT STOP to 2000 and you will receive a list of your subscribed contents.
   
Q24 What happen to the CallerTunes™ after 7th Oct 2009?
A24 We will launch the New CallerTunes services, which all existing CallerTunes™ will require to upgrade to the new CallerTunes™ service to continue enjoy all CallerTunes™ features.
   
Q25 What happen to the existing CallerTunes™ user who subscribed to the service before 7th Oct 2009?
A25 All existing CallerTunes™ users will continue being charged Rm3/month subscription fee, after 7th Oct 2009 they will have 2 options:
  • Stay with their current CallerTunes™ subscription:
    • Pay RM3/Month for the subscription fee
    • Unable to subscribe or edit their content (Any activity requires an upgrade)
    • Non-upgraded users will have their CallerTunes™ services terminated by Sep 2010.
  • Upgrade to the New CallerTunes:
    • If you have at least one(1) CallerTunes™  song, you can upgrade to new model via SMS,WAP and WEB.
    • Once upgraded, all the existing CallerTunes™ content will automatically move to the new charging model, which will be charged in the following month, so you may want to log into your CallerTunes™ account before upgrading to manage your content.
