E-money
 
Your e-money account is subject to the following terms and conditions:

Definitions
"Customer", "you", "your" means the account holder of the e-money account.
"DiGi", "we", "us", "our" means DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd.
"e-money" means a payment instrument that stores your funds electronically in exchange for funds paid to us.
 
1. Creation of e-money account
1.1 An e-money account is immediately created for you when we receive your request to purchase a product or services provided by us under the e-money scheme using either one of the following payment instructions:
(a) deduction via your prepaid mobile phone service; or
(b) direct debit to your postpaid mobile phone account.
   
1.2 Your e-money account is created based on your personal information provided to us in the Individual Registration Agreement ("IRA") for postpaid Customer or at the time you register to be a prepaid Customer, as the case may be ("Personal Information"). You are responsible to ensure that your Personal Information is correct at all times. We shall not be responsible whatsoever for any inaccuracy of your Personal Information. You must contact our Customer Service Centre or if required to do so to present yourself at a DiGi Centre to inform and/or update us as soon as possible of any changes in your Personal Information.
   
1.3 You agree that we reserve our right to use your personal information for any purpose whatsoever without the need to obtain prior consent from you.
   
2. Your e-money account
2.1 Your e-money account can only be used to purchase products and/or services provided by us under the e-money scheme. Please click here for more information.
 
2.2 You can view your e-money transactions at here.
 
2.3 If there is a balance in your e-money account (the "Available Balance"), you are not entitled to any interest on the Available Balance.
 
3. Redemption of Available Balance and related fees
3.1 You may redeem the Available Balance (if any) via:
(a) a top-up to your prepaid account airtime; or
(b) a rebate on your postpaid account in the next calendar billing month; or
(c) a cheque (subject to deduction of administration fees and/or charges).
   
3.2 You may apply to redeem the Available Balance (if any) by calling our Customer Service Centre at 016-2211800. The redemption process shall be completed within one (1) month from the receipt of your application.
   
3.3 Redemption of your Available Balance in paragraph 3.1 is subject to the following:
Top-up to your prepaid account airtime Administration fee - WAIVED
Rebate to your postpaid account in the next calendar billing month Administration fee - WAIVED
Cheque Administration fee of RM3.00 per transaction;
AND
Courier charge of RM8.00.
   
3.4 We shall first deduct the administration fee and/or charges (if any) from your Available Balance and refund the balance to you (if any).
   
4. Disputes
4.1 If you discover any error or discrepancy in your e-money account, you must contact our Customer Service Centre within fourteen (14) days from the date of the disputed transaction, failing which, you shall be deemed to have accepted the accuracy of your e-money account transaction.
   
4.2 If it is revealed in the course of our investigation that the disputed transaction was indeed made in error, we will refund to your e-money account the value of the disputed transaction.
   
4.3 We reserve all our rights not to refund any disputed amount to you if we believe that you have acted contrary to the terms and conditions stated herein.
   
5. Termination
5.1 We reserve the right to terminate your e-money account without being liable to you or any third party whatsoever at any time with immediate effect:
(a) if your DiGi mobile subscription is terminated or becomes terminated;
(b) if you have breached the terms and conditions stated herein; or
(c) if we discover that any of the Personal Information that you provided to us in relation to the e-money account was incorrect.
   
5.2 You may terminate your e-money account at any time if you no longer wish to use your e-money account or any of the products and/or services provided by us under the e-money scheme, by calling our Customer Service Centre.
   
5.3 Upon termination herein, we shall refund to you the Available Balance (if any) pursuant to paragraph 3 above.
   
6. Variation to the Terms and Conditions
6.1 We reserve the right to change, vary and/or modify any of the terms and conditions herein at our sole and absolute discretion by giving you a twenty-one (21) day notice sent via an electronic channel without being liable to you or any third party whatsoever. Nevertheless, you are advised to visit our website from time to time to keep updated of the latest variation (if any).
   
6.2 Your continued use of the e-money account in the event of any change(s), variation(s) and/or modification(s) to the terms and conditions herein constitutes your acceptance to such change(s), variation(s) and/or modification(s).

8. Disclaimer
8.1 We wish to caution you that your e-money account is subject to risk or loss arising from us being insolvent, lost or stolen e-money instruments, or fraudulent transactions and we shall not be held liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, arising therefrom.
8.2 We also shall not be held liable to any third party and/or persons authorised by or claiming through or under the insurance policy purchased by you via e-money account for any loss caused, damage incurred, whether direct or indirect, arising from such purchase.
