Employees hit the streets to switch people to DiGi

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 November 2008: DiGi.Com Berhad ("DiGi")mobilised almost 1,000 employees to hit the streets in the Klang Valley with a mission to switch as many people as possible to DiGi.

This on-ground exercise is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia that saw the majority of DiGi employees canvassing at six main commercial areas in the Klang Valley. They then informed users about the easy process of switching their mobile service providers in the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) environment while still keeping their phone numbers.

DiGi's 1-Low-Flat-Rate was the best selling point during the mission, as employees, dressed in yellow, went around town approaching pedestrians, informing them about the many benefits of switching to DiGi.

Many staff members drew great crowds through singing and dancing. Their persistence paid off as hundreds of people were switched successfully to DiGi during this five-hour mission."
