PETALING JAYA, 15 August 2016 - Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) today teamed up with Huawei Malaysia to organise an exclusive Huawei P9 photography workshop conducted by Leica-certified professional photographer, Nic Chung. This exciting workshop was exclusive for customers who have previously purchased a Huawei P9 device with Digi Postpaidâ„¢ bundle.

The three-hour workshop saw over 20 Huawei P9 users gained useful photography skills from the basics of setting up the Huawei device all the way to getting tips and techniques to take perfect portrait and street shots. In addition, they also learnt how to make full use of the device from the P9 Professional Mode and its special features. Following the insightful workshop, participants were given an opportunity to venture around and put their newly gained knowledge to test.

Cheng Weng Hong, Digi's Head of Retail and Controlled Channel shared, "We are witnessing a shift in contemporary photography as more and more people are using their smartphones to capture and share precious moments on the go due to the convenience. Nic, a professional wedding, portrait and fashion photographer who often uses Leica for his personal work shared his own experience with the Huawei P9 device with the participants. "Personally, I enjoy using the Huawei P9's wide aperture feature which adds dimension to the photographs. The feature allows me to bring my subject into focus which creates stunning images."

The workshop was held at the Talent Lounge, Damansara Perdana.
