SHAH ALAM, 15 December 2005 : DiGi customers can now keep an eye on their loved ones at home from wherever they are using the mobile phone and a service called mEyeâ„¢.
DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd is offering mEyeâ„¢ in partnership with iNavigate Sdn Bhd.
mEyeâ„¢ is a very simple and inexpensive home monitoring solution that enables customers to use their mobile phone to access web cams at home or office - anywhere and anytime. It provide either still image or 10 seconds video clips
DiGi will demonstrate how mEyeâ„¢ works and how easily it can be installed at its roadshow from 16 to 20 December 2005 at Berjaya Times Square Link Bridge (Level 1, next to DiGi Centre )
mEyeâ„¢ is the latest in broadband wireless solutions, including high speed multimedia and mobile Internet access, that DiGi supports using its broadband EDGE-enabled Widest HighSpeed Mobile Coverage.

mEyeâ„¢ can be installed quickly using a web cam, a computer, broadband internet and a mobile phone with no additional software installed on the mobile device.
The 10-second video clips are typically about 65Kb in size, which can be downloaded within a short time over DiGi HighSpeed Mobile Networkâ„¢. It allows users to see their family at home within about 10 - 15 seconds of making the request. It is also ideal for those who want to keep an eye on their homes while the family is out during festive seasons.
