DiGi presents Gary Chaw Promo Tour in Malaysia
First nationwide tour for Malaysia's up and coming Chinese music star

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 July 2006 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") is presenting the Gary Chaw Promo Tour in Malaysia, the M alaysian singer songwriter's first-ever nationwide tour.

As part of DiGi's continuing effort to support Malaysian artists, Gary will travel for the first time to seven states. Gary will start the tour at his hometown of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 21 July, to perform a 90-minute closed-door showcase of his latest songs exclusively for DiGi customers.

The Taiwan-based artist will be visiting Kuching on the 22 July, Johor Bahru on 23 July, Kuantan on 24 July, Ipoh on 4 August, Penang on 5 August and will conclude the promo tour in Kuala Lumpur on 6 August.

In launching the Gary Chaw Promo Tour in Malaysia, DiGi's Head of Customer Relationship Management Francis Chang said, "It has been DiGi's aim to play an integral part in supporting Malaysian talents and Gary is a testament of a great homegrown talent who has successfully established himself as an artist locally and abroad. We are delighted to be able to provide Gary with the platform and opportunity to showcase his talents to his fans here.

In each venue, over 2000 passes to catch Gary's performance will be given out free to all DiGi customers. An SMS will be sent to loyal customers for redemption of the exclusive passes at selected venues.

In conjunction with the promo tour, DiGi customers can participate in the Gary Chaw SMS Trivia Contest and enjoy exclusive mobile downloads.

The Gary Chaw SMS trivia contest, which commenced on 15 th July, invites fans and music lovers to create an original slogan and answer six multiple choice questions for a chance to meet and party with Gary during the Celebration Party on August 6 at the Maison club, Kuala Lumpur.

In addition to this, the two grand prize winners will also take home a Motorola V3 mobile phone and an autographed Gary Chaw CD. Other prizes to be won include an MP3 player, and DiGi goodie bags worth RM100.

A host of free mobile downloads have also been made available for all DiGi customers for a month, starting 15 th July.

All DiGi customers will be able to download an exclusive introduction by Gary on his hit songs, Superwoman and Gu Niang as their caller-tune absolutely free. These caller-tunes can be accessed via the DiGi website, under the CallerTunes™ menu.

Meanwhile, DiGi Prepaid MTVPowerpack customers will be entitled to download these two hits as their TrueTones as well as enjoy exclusive wallpapers of Gary at no cost.
