DiGi reorganises structure and focus to fuel future growth ambitions
Re-energised senior leadership team to drive next phase of transformation, and enable stronger market and customer focus
Shah Alam, 11 November, 2013: DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce a refreshed organisation structure and senior management lineup that will lead the company in the next phase of its transformation, fuel future growth by ensuring deeper business and customer focus, and drive stronger cohesion throughout all parts the organisation. The new structure takes effect on 1 January, 2014.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Henrik Clausen says, "Over the past two years DiGi has executed sharply on our company-wide business transformation programme, with significant improvements in our network and IT assets, our go-to-market ecosystem, and in the way we build a people-focused and performance-driven culture. Simultaneously, we have continued to register steady and consistent revenue and market share growth, and have built a solid track record of bringing new and innovative voice and internet services to the 10.8 million customers we serve today.
"Looking ahead, we believe the key changes that we are putting in place will enhance the way we go-to-market, strengthen our overall ability to deliver on our Internet For All mission, and lead our employees through the next phase of our evolution," Clausen added.
The new management structure consists of a change of roles for two key executives, and the addition of a new role in the senior management team.
These divisions will be supported by the Corporate Affairs, Finance, and Human Resources teams. DiGi will announce a new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO) who will join the company on 1 January 2014, in due course. The Finance and Human Resources divisions will continue to be led by current Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Karl Erik Broten and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Haroon Bhatti, respectively.
