Metallic Red Sony Ericsson W8 smartphones exclusively packaged with DiGiMusicâ„¢ Play
Shah Alam, 5 JULY 2011: Starting today, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") is offering the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone in Metallic Red as part of an exclusive arrangement with the phone manufacturer. It will be pre-loaded with Malaysia's first music download app, DiGiMusicâ„¢ Play and bundled with DG Smart Plan 68.
Retailed at RM799, DiGi Postpaid customers can purchase the phone at only RM99 if they subscribe to the DG Smart Plan 68 for 24 months. As a salute to all things music, customers will also receive limited edition metallic red MS450 portable stereo speakers, the DiGiMusicâ„¢ Play app pre-loaded into the Walkman phone and a free 12-month subscription to the music service.

As for Prepaid customers, they will receive a free DiGi prepaid starter pack worth RM16.80 with RM8 pre-loaded talktime when they purchase the phone at RM799. They will also get a reload card of RM50 with the package.
In conjunction with the launch, a special limited time offer for the Walkman phone will be given to walk-in customers at DiGi roadshows. Customers can check out the full package offered with the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman phone when they visit the roadshows at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Petaling Jaya; Queensbay Mall, Penang; and EC Mall, Kuantan from 8 - 10 July 2011.
