Korean heartthrob Jay Park set to conquer Malaysian fans
Various unique activities for fans to meet and interact with their icon
SHAH ALAM, 19 April 2012 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") has once again found another way to reward its customers with a unique music experience in the K-pop genre. In collaboration with Universal Music Malaysia, DiGi will be bringing in Korean heartthrob, Jay Park to promote his first full-fledged album, New Breed.
The showcases will be held in Kota Kinabalu at 1 Borneo Hyper Mall (12 May) and Life Centre in Kuala Lumpur (13 May).
DiGi customers, who are Jaywalkerz (Park's die-hard fans), will have the opportunity to interact with him through the various activities that are exclusively planned for them. This includes the Unique Experience to watch the artiste pitch his basketball skills in a special match against his fans at the SM Sri KDU in Kota Damansara. Exclusive passes for DiGi customers to attend special photography and autograph sessions as well as stage games, are also now up for grabs.

To redeem a showcase pass, DiGi customers are required to reload RM50 and activate DiGi Music PLUZ. It comes with three (3) Jay Park CallerTunes at RM5 via SMS JP to 2016. For non-DiGi subscribers, they can purchase a SIM pack and perform the same steps. Each DiGi number is eligible for one showcase pass only.
In Klang Valley, the showcase passes are available on a first come first served basis from 18 April-12 May at DiGi Retail Centres in Berjaya Times Square and Sunway Pyramid. In Kota Kinabalu, customers can redeem the passes at the DiGi Retail Centres in 1 Borneo and Api-Api from 25 April-11 May. Meanwhile, the special 400 audience passes for Jay Park Basketball Match will be given away via DiGi Youths Facebook contest.
For other Malaysian Jaywalkerz, Universal Music Malaysia is offering two ticketing packages to accommodate their preferences: Package A, priced at RM95 (showcase pass, autograph pass, New Breed CD and limited edition imported Jay Park T-Shirt) and Package B at RM75 (showcase pass, New Breed CD and limited edition imported Jay Park Wristband). These packages can be purchased at selected Speedy outlets nationwide.
