Telco gains ground in East Malaysia with superior network coverage

Limbang, February 8 2005 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd announced today it had extended its reach in East Malaysia by ensuring that residents, visitors and passers-by to the gateways of Brunei - Lawas and Limbang - are covered with quality mobile coverage with its recent network development programme in Sarawak.

Limbang and Lawas are thriving fishing towns in Northern Sarawak, and the traffic of people that pass through from other parts of Sabah & Sarawak into Brunei and vice versa have made these quiet towns flourishing hubs, continually contributing towards the growth of the states' economy. DiGi's mobile network expansion here will allow its customers to experience quality mobile coverage and services when they travel to these towns or for potential resident customers who are looking for a mobile communications' service to cater to their evolving needs.
