The All-American Rejects set to rock at DiGi Music LIVE concert

KUALA LUNPUR, 31 October 2009: DiGi Music Unlimited members are expected to give a rousing welcome to US band, The All-American Rejects at the much-awaited DiGi Music LIVE concert tonight at Bukit Jalil National Stadium after the initial postponement.

DiGi Music LIVE complements the unlimited music service offering by DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") with unique music experiences for customers who sign up for DiGi Music Unlimited service. Tonight's concert is an exclusive and complimentary event for members of this service, and it will feature Malaysia's top indie bands - Disagree, One Buck Short and Pop Shuvit.

The four-member US band flew into Kuala Lumpur last night after their European stint, which ended in Amsterdam. Front man, Tyson Ritter, who sustained a knee injury while on tour, has promised the Malaysian fans a show of a lifetime to make up for the concert's initial postponement because of his injury.

Comprising lead vocalist and bass guitarist, Tyson Ritter; guitarists, Nick Wheeler and Mike Kennerty; and drummer, Chris Gaylor, The All-American Rejects are all set to rock the night with hits from their latest album, When The World Comes Down, including their smash singles, I Wanna and Gives You Hell.

DiGi's Head of Segments, Koay Chee Keong said: "This concert is the first of many to come for our DiGi Music Unlimited members, who have supported us from Day One. It is all part of our promise to deliver one-of-a-kind music experiences that appeal to the youths of today."

Added Loan Cheong, General Manager of Universal Music Malaysia: "It's going to be a night to remember as these guys are pumped up to deliver a great show for their fans here. We have a great line-up in the opening acts as well, which will definitely spice up the evening for everyone."

The opening acts by three of Malaysia's top independent bands will set the adrenalin flowing. Disagree, with their newest album, To Prevent The Earth From Moving With You, has promised some surprises during their performance at DiGi Music LIVE concert.

One Buck Short, fresh from their successful participation in the One Movement Festival in Perth recently, will thrill the audience with their string of hits, including Fast Times and Khayalan Masa as well as songs from their latest album, Halal and Loving It.

Pop Shuvit, arguably Asia's leading hip hop band with a big fan base in Japan, Singapore and Thailand, will be wowing their die-hard fans with their hits - Oh Sizuka, Old Skool Rocker and Marabahaya.

The recently launched DiGi Music Unlimited offers unlimited music downloads anytime, anywhere for just RM5 a month. Members can also share songs and their playlists with friends via SMS, e-mail and social networking sites.
