Will IDD rates differ based on the Digi Postpaid™ plan that I am using?

No, IDD rates do not differ, regardless of which Digi Postpaid™ plan you are using. However, special rates to 11 countries apply if you are a foreigner or expat who is subscribed to DG Call Home. For more info on DG Call Home, kindly visit this page.

Do I have to activate IDD before making international calls?

Yes, you must activate IDD before making international calls. Please call the Digi Customer Service Helpline at 016 221 1800 or walk in to your nearest Digi Store to do so.

Do I have to pay an activation fee or make a deposit to activate IDD?

No, you don’t have to pay an activation fee or make a deposit to activate IDD.

Are these IDD rates applicable when I am roaming overseas?

No, these IDD rates are not applicable when you are roaming overseas. All calls made while you are abroad will incur charges set by the mobile network operator that you are roaming with. Please visit our International Roaming Rates page for more information.

What is the charging block for an IDD call?

You will be charged based on a 30-second/60-second/180-second charging block, depending on the country that you are calling.
