Digi® Easy Prepaid

1.Each Subscriber can register up to three (3) Buddyz™ (Digi numbers), free of charge.

2.Free calls and SMS to the Subscriber's Buddyz™ are only available after the Subscriber has registered their Buddyz™ via USSD Menu Browser (“UMB”), Interactive Voice Response (“IVR“) or Online Customer Service (“OCS”).

3.Press *128*1*8# and choose friends and family™ to register your Buddyz™ numbers in UMB, dial 016-2211800 to register via IVR or log on to register via OCS.

4.The Subscriber may change their Buddyz™ numbers any time. The Subscriber shall be charged RM10.00 for each change of number.

5.Subscribers who have activated their Digi® Easy Prepaid SIM card on or after 25 February 2011 to 3 September 2012 will enjoy free calls and SMS to their Buddyz™ between 00:00:00 to 18:00:59 daily. Calls and SMS which are made from 18:01:00 to 23:59:59 daily are chargeable.

6.Subscribers who their Digi® Easy Prepaid SIM Card on or after 4 September 2012 will enjoy 24 hours of free calls & SMS to their Buddyz™.

Free Call and SMS Fair Usage Policy

  • All Free Calls and SMS promotions including, but not limited to, the subscriber's Buddyz™ are subjected to the Free Call and SMS Fair Usage Policy which will be determined by Digi.
  • Digi, in its sole discretion in view of various factors, will determine the amount of free calls and SMS which is subject to change from time to time.
  • Upon reaching the quota of free calls and SMS, Digi reserves the right to suspend the usage and/or charge the Subscriber for calls and SMS, impose a fee, extra charges and/or penalty to subscribers who misuses the free calls and/or data services by way of unauthorised selling and/or Commercial Gain, as may be determined by Digi in its sole discretion.
  • Impose any minimum or maximum capping for the free voice and/or data usage without prior notice to the Subscriber based on this fair usage policy.
  • Digi reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate the line in the case of suspected commercial gain activity not limited to any voice and/or data services and promotions being offered.
  • “Effective from 9th September 2014, Digi will implement a maximum limit to Subscriber's free SMS and voice calls to Buddyz™. The monthly total free SMS and voice calls to Buddyz™ will be capped at 1000 SMS and 1000 minutes respectively. For every subsequent SMS after the monthly free 1000 SMS will be charged at RM0.08 per SMS and every subsequent call after the free 1000 minutes voice calls will be charged at RM0.08 per minute. SMS notifications will be sent to the Subscriber when their total free SMS and voice calls to Buddyz™ exceed 1000 SMS and 1000 minutes respectively”.

Starter Pack with FREE Internet for 7days

1.With effect from 1 April 2015, subscribers of new Digi® Easy Prepaid (“New Subscribers”) will be entitled to free usage of Internet up to 500MB per day for 7 consecutive days from the date of receipt of the SMS Notification as defined in the following clause (“Free Internet”).

2.Each New Subscriber will be able to enjoy the Free Internet upon his/her receipt of the SMS notification from Digi on his/her eligibility to use the Free Internet ("SMS Notification") which will be sent by Digi within 24 hours after the activation of the New Subscriber's SIM card via his/her first call activation.

3.No carry forward of the FREE internet will be allowed for the said 7 consecutive days. Any internet usage by the New Subscriber which exceeds the Free Internet will be subjected to internet charges as per standard rate with maximum charge of RM8/day.

4.The FREE Internet is non-transferable, whether by operation of law or otherwise, either to any other person, entity or any other prepaid account.

5.The FREE Internet can only be utilised in Malaysia only and is not eligible for any usage of roaming services. The Subscriber shall be charged based on the Internet access rate imposed by the respective Digi roaming operators for Internet usage whilst roaming with Digi's roaming partners.

6.The Subscriber will generally be enjoying Internet access at 3G speed.

7.Digi shall not be responsible in any way in the event of unauthorised use of the Subscriber's account.

8.Digi reserves the sole and absolute right to cease, alter or suspend the provision of FREE Internet usage anytime without prior notice based on its sole and absolute discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, such alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension by Digi does not entitle the Subscriber to any claim or compensation against Digi (in cash or in kind) for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Subscriber as a direct or indirect result of the act of alteration, cancellation, termination or suspension.

9.This service is provided on an “as is” basis and Digi does not guarantee or warrant that there shall be no problem, defect or is error free in the Internet access or usage provided by this promotion. Digi shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the loss incurred directly or indirectly for such failure or any problems associated to the network in any way whatsoever. Internet services herein is optimised for Internet browsing on the mobile phone and it is not intended for peer-to-peer or file sharing applications. Digi reserves the right to terminate, suspend or block a Customer's usage of its services for any reason including but not limited for usage for the purpose of Voice Over Internet Protocol, Peer to Peer and Messaging services.

10.By using this Free internet, the Subscriber acknowledges that they understand the terms & conditions herein and agree to abide by it.

11.Internet usage refers to Subscriber's access to the Internet via Digi's GPRS, EDGE or 3G Network (whichever applicable).

12.Digi does not guarantee or warrant the availability of the Internet usage and the Subscriber acknowledges and agrees that the Internet usage is provided on an “as is” basis.

13.Digi reserves the right to revise, modify and/or change these terms and conditions at any time at Digi's sole discretion without providing notice to the Subscriber. Continued use of this service following any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes an acceptance to those changes (if any). The Subscriber is advised to visit this page periodically to review the terms and conditions.

14.The existing Digi Mobile Internet Max 8 & other Prepaid Mobile Internet plans' Terms & Conditions shall apply.

SIM Card Lifecycle

1.Upon activation of a SIM card, the status of SIM card will be updated to an Active state that will last for a 7 (Seven)-day period. Active state means the Customer is allowed to make outgoing and incoming calls or SMS or any type of services including Internet access.

2.If there are no reload activities performed after the Active state but credit balance is still available in the SIM card, then the Customer will not be able to use any Digi services, but will continue to receive incoming calls and SMS.

3.If the Customer has utilised all the credit balance before the Active state period has ended, then the Customer will not be able to use any Digi services, but will be able to receive incoming calls and SMS.

4.The validity period for the Customer to receive incoming calls and SMS is 75 (seventy five) days upon the expiry of the Active state period, but no outgoing transactions will be allowed unless a reload is performed.

5.If there are still no reload activities performed by the end of the 75 (seventy five) day validity period, the status of SIM card will be changed to Suspended (R2) whereby a Customer will not be allowed to receive incoming or outgoing calls or SMS except for automated SMS from Digi.

6.Upon the following day of the Suspended state, the status of the SIM card will be changed to Terminated state and the Customer will not be able to recover the mobile number or any remaining credit balance or freebies in the SIM card.

Mobile Internet

1.The daily max cap for Internet charges is RM8. The Subscriber shall enjoy free domestic Internet usage until 11:59:59pm (Malaysian time) on the same day SUBJECT to a fair usage limit of 30MB for that day (“Free Domestic Internet Usage”). For clarification purposes, the Free Domestic Internet Usage is applicable to the Subscriber daily anytime from 12:00:00am to 11:59:59pm on the same day once the Subscriber reaches the daily usage of RM8.

2.For the purposes of daily Internet usage calculation, any free Internet usage (in kilobytes) and/or Free Talktime (in RM) granted to the Subscriber at any point of time shall not be taken into consideration.

3.This service is optimised for Internet browsing on the mobile phone and it is not intended for peer-to-peer or file sharing applications. Digi reserves its absolute right and discretion to apply the Fair Usage Policy if the Subscriber is suspected to have had abused the Internet usage in whatsoever way including, but not limited to, exceeding the fair usage limit of 30MB per day, wherein Digi may throttle the speed or block the Subscriber's Internet usage.

Free SMS with every RM10 reload

The Subscriber shall be entitled to receive 10 FREE SMS for every RM10 reload to the following conditions:

  • These FREE SMS can be used for all networks;
  • These FREE SMS will expire after 15 days;
  • The Subscriber is only entitled to a maximum of 30 FREE SMS at any one time;
  • Any chargeable SMS sent, (other than to Buddyz™) will be deducted from the freebie bucket first, before the Subscriber's main credit balance is deducted.

Birthday Bonus™

1.The Birthday Bonus will be given to Subscribers who successfully reload within the period of 3 days before or 3 days after his/her birthday.

2.The Subscriber shall be entitled to a fifty percent (50%) additional talktime when the Subscriber reloads on his/her birthday, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The FREE talktime granted herein is a maximum value of Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred and Fifty (RM250) only
  • The Subscriber will only be eligible for Birthday Bonus three (3) months after the Subscriber first subscribed to eligible rate plans
  • The Subscriber will only be eligible for Birthday Bonus for reload denomination of RM30 and above
  • The Birthday Bonus shall only be granted to the Subscriber within three (3) days before and three (3) days after the Subscriber’s birth date.

With effect from 1 March 2013, please note that Birthday Bonus granted will automatically expire after thirty (30) days from the mentioned date.

Music Bonus

1.The three (3) FREE MP3 downloads will be available to the Subscriber every month provided the line is active.

2.Once the Subscriber downloads the FREE MP3s, Subscriber automatically agrees to the Terms and Conditions of DigiMusic™ Pluz.

3.Three (3) FREE MP3 downloads will be credited to the Subscriber every 30 days, from the day the Subscriber downloads the first FREE MP3. These FREE MP3 downloads will not be carried forward to the following month if the Subscriber does not download for the month.

4.Digi will not provide a refund if the Subscriber has accidentally subscribed to DigiMusic™ Pluz for RM5 per month.

5.Existing DigiMusic™ Pluz Subscribers who are paying RM5 per month will not receive an additional three (3) free MP3 downloads to their existing ten (10) MP3 downloads. Subscribers are required to unsubscribe from DigiMusic™ Pluz before they can enjoy the FREE MP3 downloads.

6.Digi holds the right to change the MP3 freebies available to customers without prior notice.

7.There may be some data charges incurred if the Subscriber access the site via a tiny URL or a redirected URL.

8.Digi will put its best efforts, determined solely by Digi, to suppress all data charges while browsing and downloading songs within the domain here; Digi will not be responsible for any charges incurred by the Subscriber from accessing, intentionally or not, from another site or as a result of redirection from another domain.

9.Digi does not take responsibility if the MP3 that the Subscriber downloads is damaged or is not the song of their choice; the Subscriber will be held responsible for all charges incurred accordingly.

General

1.In the event the Subscriber changes his/her call plan, at Digi's discretion, the FRIENDS AND FAMILY numbers may be removed. Resetting of the FRIENDS AND FAMILY numbers shall require the Subscriber to key in all their FRIENDS AND FAMILY numbers again.

2.Subscribers from old plans can choose to upgrade to the new Digi® Easy Prepaid plan to enjoy greater savings. A one-off fee of RM5 shall be charged to such Subscribers. RM5 will be deducted from the Subscriber's main credit balance. The Subscriber is not allowed to move back to their old plan after the upgrade.

3.To upgrade to the new Digi® Easy Prepaid plan, the Subscriber is required to key in *128*1*4# and press SEND/CALL, then select Easy Prepaid. Upgrades can also be performed online by registering and logging in to Online Customer Service (OCS Login). Alternatively, the Subscriber can upgrade by calling 016-221 1800 and follow the step-by-step instructions given by the automated phone system.

4.With effect from 1st March 2013, if the Subscribers change their call plan to Digi® Easy Prepaid plan, freebie buckets shall be reset automatically except for the FREE Talktime bucket which will remain unchanged. All usage and reload counters values will remain unchanged.

5.If the Subscriber changes their call plan from Digi® Easy Prepaid to another approved Digi Prepaid™ plan, total usage and GPRS usage counters will be reset. All other freebie buckets shall remain unchanged.

6.With effect from 1st March 2013 please note that except for data freebies, all other freebies granted from any of Digi's promotion/campaign/bonuses in accordance to the terms of those Digi's promotion/campaign/bonuses (“Start Date”) will, unless otherwise specifically stated in each of the said individual promotion/campaign/bonuses, automatically expire after fifteen (15) days from the Start Date. In relation to data freebies, please note that, data freebies only have a 1 day validity. Any unutilised data freebies will expire at 11.59pm at the end of the reload day or freebies granted day, notwithstanding the term of the reload or grant.

7.With effect from 1st March 2013, for any subscriber whose account with Digi is in the “Restricted Due to Balance or Validity” status continuously for fifteen (15) days or more, any freebies that have been granted via any Reload Bonus and/or Birthday Bonus or any other campaigns/promotions will be forfeited.

8.The Subscriber who purchases the Super Reload RM35 (from Public Bank/Maybank Online and ATM) under the new Digi® Easy Prepaid plan shall not be granted the 100 Free Digi - Digi SMS but there shall be no change in the validity as stipulated in the coupon or website.

9.Under this call plan the Subscriber shall not be able to activate multi-party conferencing.

10.All other terms and conditions stipulated on the Digi® Easy Prepaid and Fair Usage Policy* pages will apply.

11.Digi shall not be responsible in any way in the event that the Subscriber's subscription is activated by a third party without their consent. Digi shall not refund nor compensate the Subscriber in any manner whatsoever in such situations.

12.This service is provided on an "as is" basis and Digi does not guarantee or warrant that there shall be no problems, defects or errors in the usage provided by this subscription. Digi shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for the loss incurred directly or indirectly for such failure or any problems associated to the network in any way whatsoever.

13.By subscribing to this service, the Subscriber acknowledges that they understand the terms & conditions herein and agree to abide by it.

14.Digi reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice as it deems fit.
